March Reminders


Today is National School Bus Driver's Appreciation Day. Shouting a big THANK YOU to all of our bus drivers for all they do to get our students safely to and from school daily.


As a reminder, there is a scheduled 2hr early dismissal for students this Friday, February 17.
Also, there is no school for students on Monday, February 20; this is a Professional Learning Day for Staff.

As we finish out the National School Counseling Week, we would like to say "Thank You" to all of Morgan County School Counselors. Every student deserves a school counselor to help with academic achievement strategies, managing emotions and applying interpersonal skills, and planning for postsecondary options. PROMISE SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE: High school seniors in the class of 2023 planning to apply for West Virginia’s Promise Scholarship have until March 1, 2023, to complete the Promise application. Through Promise, qualifying high school graduates receive annual awards of up to $5,000 to cover the cost of tuition and mandatory fees at West Virginia colleges and universities. The Promise application and eligibility requirements can be found at CollegeForWV.com/promise. Students are also encouraged to call the state’s free financial aid hotline at 877-987-7664 or send an email to promise@wvhepc.edu for assistance.
