Award report from last night: BSHS Band 4th place over all in class, Drum Major 4th place, Auxiliary 4th place, Drumline 3rd place.
There were 7 bands in our class. We am very very proud of your achievements and accomplishments this season! Lets Go Band!




BSHS Band played very well today! Now for the waiting game to see if we placed. until then, we eat!



The BSHS Marching Band is on their way to the West Virginia Marching Band Invitational in Philippi, WV!


Picture Day proofs (including senior portraits) were distributed to students today along with photo package ordering information. Our make-up day for pictures is tentatively scheduled for October 31.

Attention Seniors! A few weeks ago, letters were mailed out to schedule your senior meeting with your school counselor to review your post-secondary plans and opportunities. This is a reminder to contact your school counselor to schedule your meeting! We look forward to seeing you all and discussing your plans for the future! 🙂

MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Students - Is there a staff person who is MAKING A DIFFERENCE? A teacher? A cook? A custodian? A Secretary? An Aide? If you would like to nominate a BSHS staff person for the MAKING A DIFFERENCE award, please send your nomination (name of staff person and a brief reason how that person is making a difference) to Mrs. Yost before Wednesday, November 1.


Attention BSHS Parents:
Would you like to be a part of the BSHS Local School Improvement Council (LSIC)? This team will review our school goals, programs, and procedures and meet to discuss innovative ideas for school improvement. Meetings are 1x per month held in the evening. Our first meeting will be October 30th at 4:30pm. Email Mr. Nida at mnida@k12.wv.us if you are interested.

Felicia Brown, Admissions Representative for the College of Applied Technologies at the University of Northwestern Ohio, is presenting to Mr. Hayes' Civics classes today about programs available at UNOH. Thanks to Mrs. Brown for speaking to our students!


This week in Mr. Lacy's and Mr. Giles' classes we worked on World War 1 propaganda posters.


BSHS boys take down North Marion 3-1 in the first round!

BSHS girls soccer takes the W with 4 goals by Circe Powell. Onto the next round Wednesday at East Fairmont.

Admission for the soccer games tonight is $6 for tonight. Sorry for any confusion.

Reminder: Senior Portraits and Picture Day for underclassmen will be on Monday, October 16.

On October 7th Berkeley Springs FFA members participated in the 48th annual Apple Butter festival Parade and our float won best theme.




On September 22nd Berkeley Springs FFA members volunteered with the Morgan County Starting Points annual empty bowls event.




On September 20th and 21st FFA took seven members to Fall Leadership Conference at Cedar Lakes, to get a chance to meet and bond with our new state officers. Members attended seven sessions on various leadership topics presented by FFA State Officers.
