Caitlyn Savicki (12th grade) is one of the featured artists in the annual Youth Art Show this year. Caitlyn is in Advanced Placement 3-D Art and Design class with Ms. Didawick. This year her work focuses on creating a cosplay costume for Fawna, a Dungeons and Dragons character. She worked with a variety of media to create all of the different costume pieces. Some of the media she worked with were wood carving, papier-mâché, sewing, etc.

For the month of February, we had seven staff members with perfect attendance! Those staff members were Chuck Walker, Diane Hiles, Holli McCumbee, Lauren Mahoney, MaryAlice Hobday, Meghan Powell, and Renee Fincham. Three names were randomly selected, and those staff members were given a token of appreciation (Scentsy items donated by CJ’s Floral)! Thank you for your hard work every day!

Caelyn Bartley (10th grade) is one of the featured artists in the annual Youth Art Show this year. Caelyn is in Advanced Placement 2-d Art and Design class with Ms. Didawick. This year her work focused on "The Teenage Experience" which is formulated on two needs: a need to vent and a need to encapsulate what these years are really all about. These pieces are each created within a journal to further capture and document the teen experience.
Caelyn is also in Sculpture class and has her sculpture pieces in the show which include a large collaborative miniature village.

Elizabeth (Ella) Kessel (10th grade) is one of the featured artist in the annual Youth Art Show this year. Ella is in Ms. Didawick's Advanced Placement Art and Design 2-D class. This year her work focuses on exploring different issues in an office environment using animals as metaphors for the roles people play. She uses a variety of media to create her pieces including digital drawing.

Solace Gildowan (11th grade) is one of the featured artists in the annual Youth Art Show this year. Solace is in Advanced Placement 3-d Art and Design class. This year her work focused on a series of robots showing her deep appreciation for science fiction and plant growth. (Some even move!!!!)

Alivia Arnold (11th grade) is one of the featured artists in the Annual Youth art show this year. Alivia is in Advanced Placement 2-d art and design class. This year her work focused on showing how the housing industry is taking over the natural beauties of West Virginia.
Her art was also chosen for the Town of Bath Follies poster.

The Art Show will open Friday March 3rd at 6:00pm with a celebration of art from all Morgan County Schools and several student performances.

The Junior class will be taking a field trip to Cacapon Resort State Park on Thursday, March 23, 2023 for the Berkeley Springs-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Job Fair. Letters were distributed to 11th grade students today during homeroom. If students do not wish to participate, they must submit the opt-out form to Ms. Smith.
Seniors are welcome to attend the Job Fair with permission, please see Ms. Smith for a permission slip.
