As a reminder, there is a scheduled 2hr Early Dismissal on Thursday, December 22 for Faculty Senate. There is NO school Friday, December 23 through Monday, January 2 for Winter Break. Students will return to school on Tuesday, January 3.


The BSHS choir and band concert scheduled for this evening will be postponed until January. Date and time TBA.

BSHS Dance, sponsors of the Joy of Movement Scholarship, participated in the Winterfest parade this weekend. Students designed and decorated a float based on the Nutcracker Ballet. It was an exciting experience and we can't wait til next year!

BAND FUNDRAISER BINGO at South Morgan Fire Hall Sunday, December 18, 2 p.m.

BSHS FFA attended the third Eastern Region FFA meeting. After a short meeting students worked on a service project with all the regions chapters. Each chapter brought food items to be packaged in boxes to send out to families in need for the holiday. Students decorated boxes and filled them with food items.





BSHS FFA attended WSMS club day to help introduce middle school students to FFA. High school students taught a lesson on the FFA motto. The two groups of students then worked to make blankets that will be donated to WV children's hospital.

The time has come for National Honor Society to select new members into our chapter! Today, NHS members distributed student information forms to eligible students. Please return completed packets to BSHS by December 9, 2022.
