
Berkeley Springs High School FFA hosted a FFA Regional meeting October 13.
FFA chapter from Jefferson, Berkeley, Morgan, Hampshire, and Mineral Counties attended. About 150 students from the region conducted regional business and then guest speakers Shayne Weister present to the students about beekeeping. State Apiarist Shanda King spoke to students as well via a Teams call.

Zombie Walk
What: The Zombie Walk
Where: Downtown Berkeley Springs (across from the courthouse)
When: October 29 from 11-2
Why: A family friendly fun experience featuring zombification stations, games with prizes, student food vendors, costume contests and a parade around the block at 1pm.
Cost: FREE (except for student food vendors)
**Needed: More student vendors, any community organization wanting to set up

It is with deep regret that we inform you about a recent loss to our school community. Yesterday, one of our students passed away while at the hospital. This loss is sure to raise many emotions, concerns, and questions for our entire school, especially our students.
BSHS has a Crisis Response Team made up of a professionals trained to help with the needs of students, parents, and school personnel at difficult times such as this. At our school we have counselors available for any student who may need or want help or any type of assistance surrounding this loss. We encourage you, as parents, to also feel free to use our resources.

Science is awesome! BSHS students participated in an exciting science presentation by Hagerman. Tesla coils certainly made today memorable! Thank you to the Morgan Arts Council for making this possible.





BSHS Dance is beyond grateful at the generousity and support they were shown at Apple Butter! A big thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello, bought items, and/or donated at the dance booth. The funds raised will go towards purchasing two new acro mats, contemporary dance shoes for all dance students, repairing tap shoes, and costume needs for our upcoming performances.



BSHS FFA chapter officers attended the State FFA Fall Leadership Conference at Cedar Lakes in Ripley WV. Chapter officers participated in the two day event attending 7 breakout groups lead by the State FFA officer team with focus on various leaderships skills.
