The survey is available online and in a paper format (upon request from the school / student's special education case manager). We encourage families and students who currently receive special education services to complete this anonymous survey so results can be reviewed and used for continuous improvement. PEP Season is rapidly approaching! The BSHS School Counseling Department is committed to providing students and families several opportunities to review the student's PEP, make course selections for next school year, and continue planning for after graduation. There are MANY pathways to choose from and Morgan County has much to offer our students. Beginning January 27th-February 28th, school counselors are available to schedule individual PEP meetings. Please reach out via Schoology, Email, of phone to schedule. On February 25th, all students will participate in a day long scheduling event in collaboration with core teacher's to choose courses for the upcoming school year. Individual PEP meetings play a vital role in the planning process. Please reach out to your school counselor today!

Today, PE and Health classes took part in an exciting Volleyball tournament! The event featured 14 teams and followed a consolation format. Over 100 freshmen and sophomores participated and/or cheered on the teams, showing incredible enthusiasm and support. A big congratulations to the top three finishers:

The Governor's School for the Arts summer program provides students with a unique opportunity to enhance and build artistic skills in creative writing, dance, digital literacy, instrumental music, painting and drawing, theater, and vocal performance. The program provides an inclusive community for artists of all types. Current 10th-grade students are eligible for the GSA. Auditions and portfolios are reviewed for admittance. The summer 2025 session will be at the West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon, West Virginia. Contact your school counselor for more information.
