There is no school on Monday, Sept. 5 for Labor Day.


Congratulations to our own Aiden Carpenter, Corey Verkouteren, Jenna Tuttle, Rebecca Moran, and Trinity Anderson, who are five of 62,000 students from across the country to earn the National Rural and Small Town Award from College Board. Eligible students are invited to apply during their sophomore or junior year, and are awarded at the beginning of the next school year.

Please remember that our bus runs often take longer than expected on the first day of school. It is possible that your child's evening bus run could be delayed up to 45 minutes. Similar delays could last the first few days of school. We appreciate your patience as we work to get everyone where they need to go.


BSHS is off to a great start! It was wonderful seeing so many students out yesterday evening at the Back to School event. We can’t wait to see you all on Tuesday!




Senator Joe Manchin in partnership with the West Virginia University ROTC is hosting an Academy Training Day on Saturday, August 27, 2022. There will be opportunities for students to explore a future in military and build important connections towards that career path.

BSHS faculty had a blast at our Capturing Kids Hearts Training this week! We look forward to seeing our students again and sharing these wonderful ideas!



The lady Indian’s soccer team is looking for more players to join the team. Any BSHS girls who are interested in playing soccer, there is still time to try it out. No experience necessary. Contact Coach Havermale at 304-582-8642. Practices this week and next week Monday-Friday, 6pm-7:30 at the intermediate school. Must have a physical.

July 6-9 Berkeley Springs FFA students attended State FFA convention and participated as official delegates and in State Land Judging competition. Congratulation to Serenity for receiving her State FFA Degree.
