The BSHS Art department has partnered with Creekside Collective (part of Creekside Provisions and Supplies located behind the Library) to showcase student work.
The first student showcase is Rihanna Richards, a second year AP studio art student at BSHS, who has several pieces in the current gallery show.
This is an exciting partnership! The gallery coordinator is Mandi, a BSHS AP art alumni.
You can stop by and check out Rihanna's art, as well as all the other very cool items, in the space. Rihanna's work will be up until Oct 13th.

Due to transportation issues, tonight's football match against Philip Barbour will be postponed to a 7:30pm start.

Please help with this year's pumpkin drop. We are in dire need of boxes large enough to hold a medium size pumpkin. There is a need for 55 boxes of this size. At this point, I only have one box that is big enough. Smaller boxes are also needed. This project is focused on ways to reuse materials to help save the environment. Also, students are developing engineering skills. Winning teams go to WVU to participate in their annual competition. In the past two years we have finished in the top three out of about 300 schools.
Boxes – They should at least be large enough to hold a pumpkin with space to add
cushioning. Smaller boxes are still useful.

BSHS is excited to share a new resource for parents to support the ever changing role of parenting and the sometimes unknown landscape in shaping and supporting our incredible kids. Check out: https://parentguidance.org, a FREE resource for all parents and families in Morgan County. Reach out to your student's school counselor for more information.

Morgan County Schools were made aware of a threat made via social media involving Berkeley Springs High School. We immediately began working with our local law enforcement and their FBI partners to establish the credibility of this threat and take all necessary precautions. Parents/guardians of students that were mentioned in the threat have been notified directly. At this time, there is no credible threat to student safety.
Any threats will be evaluated by local law enforcement and school officials, and all appropriate disciplinary measures will be taken. Please always remember if you see something, say something. Safety is a team effort.
