Congratulations to Elias Lyda, Emery Shives, and Estella Powell who represented Morgan County in the WV State Social Studies Fair on April 14. Elias placed third with his psychology project, Electronics on the Brain. Emery also placed third with her sociology project, Got Game: The History and Benefits of Board Games. Estella placed first in WV with her anthropology project, Escaping the Trail of Tears: How my Cherokee Ancestors Came to WV. Achieving at the state level takes a lot of practice and dedication. We are so proud of each of you!

As a reminder, there is a scheduled 2hr early dismissal for students this Friday, February 17.
Also, there is no school for students on Monday, February 20; this is a Professional Learning Day for Staff.

As we finish out the National School Counseling Week, we would like to say "Thank You" to all of Morgan County School Counselors.
