School COVID-19 Data for the week of February 10-17, 2022

Tonight, the Morgan County Board of Education voted 5-0 to make masks optional for students and staff effective on February 16, 2022. An updated guidance document will be released soon. We would like to offer a sincere thank you to our families and staff for their patience and understanding. Your cooperation has been vital to keeping our schools open and our students in school. We look forward to continuing to partner with you as we move ahead.

Local transmission of COVID-19 remains at the HIGH level, therefore masks will be required indoors and on buses next week, February 14 through February 18.

Due to the timing of the winter weather and the temperatures tomorrow morning, Morgan County Schools will be operating on a 2-hour delay for Thursday, January 20. We will continue to monitor conditions and evaluate roads in the morning. Employees will follow reporting code D. As of now, all schools will be open for in-person learning on a 2-hour delay schedule.

Warm Springs Middle School will operate on remote learning today, Wednesday, January 19 due to lack of staffing. Students should look for messages from teachers on Schoology. Please call during school hours with any questions.
All available staff will report on a two-hour delay.
