A group of juniors and seniors spent 3 days participating in Career Exploration Opportunities with experts who led them in fun, educational activities. They learned about job searching, applications, interviewing and even how to "dress for success". They learned about budgeting using "average" income based on their career choices. Students did mock interviews and discovered their hidden strengths. They even created a few STEM projects and many showed off their creative side as you can see with the pasta/marshmallow towers. Three Days of Fun Learning. The next event will be in January. We already have 40 students signed up for that event.

THANK YOU for your donation during the 2023 - 2024 school year! Your generosity will be making a difference in our school. It’s donors like you that enable us to either make progress toward improving attendance (along with recognizing our students and staff) or assist with the needs of our therapy dog, Skye. We’re excited that you’ve chosen to help us along our journey. Thanks again! If you would like to find out ways you can help the Communities In Schools & Friends With Paws programs, please contact Matt Griffith at mjgriffith@k12.wv.us
